Google Docs Training
Connect your Google account and import documents from Google Drive. Perfect for documentation, guidelines, and cloud-stored content.
Connecting Google Account
Open Google Docs Modal
- Navigate to Google Docs tab in Training
- Click "Add Google Docs" button
Authorize Access
- Click "Connect Google Account"
- Select your Google account in the popup
- Review and accept permissions
- Click "Allow" to grant access
Read-Only Access: BrandVox only requests read access to your Google Docs. We never modify or delete your documents.
Importing Documents
Select from Google Drive
After connecting:
- Click "Select Files from Google Drive" button
- Google Picker opens showing your documents
- Browse and select documents to import
- You can select multiple documents at once
Import Selected
- Click "Choose" in Google Picker
- Documents are fetched from Google Drive
- Content is processed and added to training
- Character count is updated
Managing Multiple Accounts
You can connect multiple Google accounts:
- Click account dropdown
- Select "Add Another Account"
- Authorize new account
- Switch between accounts anytime
Disconnecting Account
- Click account dropdown
- Click disconnect icon next to account
- Confirm disconnection
- Existing imported documents remain
Disconnecting prevents future imports but doesn't delete existing content. Delete documents manually if needed.
Managing Google Docs
Edit Mode
- Click "Edit" button
- Select documents to manage
- Choose action:
- Delete: Remove permanently
- Assign: Assign to specific BV applications
Search
Use the search bar to find documents by name.
