Messaging & Values

Establish what your brand stands for and how you want customers to feel.

Core Values

Optional - Fundamental principles that guide your brand. Select up to 3:

Personal & Relational:

  • Authenticity, Transparency, Respect, Empathy, Passion

Service & Performance:

  • Customer Focus, Quality, Responsiveness, Reliability, Excellence

Innovation & Progress:

  • Creativity, Innovation, Flexibility

Social & Ethical:

  • Community, Inclusivity, Sustainability, Equity, Justice

Operational:

  • Efficiency, Accountability, Collaboration, Consistency

Limit of 3: Focus on your most important values. Click the info icon next to each value for detailed descriptions.

How They're Used

  • Reflects your values in AI responses
  • Prioritizes value-aligned topics
  • Influences decision-making in content
  • Guides ethical stance of generated content

Selecting Values

  1. Navigate to Brand SettingsMessaging & Values
  2. Click Show More to see all options
  3. Select up to 3 values
  4. Click Save Changes

Desired Customer Emotions

Optional - Feelings you want customers to experience. Select up to 3:

Positive Connection:

  • Inspiration, Connection, Trust, Belonging

Excitement & Joy:

  • Excitement, Entertainment, Joy, Happiness

Achievement & Success:

  • Satisfaction, Confidence, Gratification, Empowerment

Security & Support:

  • Security, Relief, Respect, Validation

Forward-Looking:

  • Optimism, Loyalty, Hope, Pride

Purpose & Meaning:

  • Compassion, Solidarity, Urgency

How They're Used

  • Crafts responses to evoke specific feelings
  • Chooses words that create emotional connections
  • Focuses on positive brand associations
  • Shapes emotional tone of content

Selecting Emotions

  1. Navigate to Brand SettingsMessaging & Values
  2. Click Show More to see all options
  3. Select up to 3 emotions
  4. Click Save Changes

Example Combinations

  • Fitness Brand: Inspiration, Empowerment, Confidence
  • Customer Support: Trust, Relief, Security
  • Creative Agency: Inspiration, Excitement, Connection
  • Eco-Friendly Brand: Hope, Pride, Compassion

Tagline

Optional - A short, memorable phrase (under 10 words) that captures your brand's essence.

Examples:

  • Nike: "Just Do It"
  • Apple: "Think Different"
  • L'Oréal: "Because You're Worth It"

Setting Your Tagline

  1. Navigate to Brand SettingsMessaging & Values
  2. Enter your tagline in the field
  3. Click Save Changes

If you don't have a tagline, you can leave this blank. BrandVox will work perfectly without one.

Brand Story Summary

Optional - A brief narrative (2-4 paragraphs) about your brand's background, mission, and purpose.

What to Include

  • Your founding story or origin
  • Your mission and purpose
  • What problems you solve
  • Your unique approach
  • What drives your team

Writing Your Story

  1. Navigate to Brand SettingsMessaging & Values
  2. Write 2-4 paragraphs covering the points above
  3. Keep it authentic and conversational
  4. Click Save Changes

Example Structure:

Paragraph 1: How you started

Paragraph 2: Your mission

Paragraph 3: Your unique approach

Paragraph 4: What drives you

Saving Changes

After setting your values, emotions, tagline, and story:

  1. Review all selections and text
  2. Click Save Changes in the top right
  3. Confirm the save action
  4. Wait for AI retraining (2-5 minutes)
