Members & Invitations

Invite team members, manage access, and handle workspace invitations

Members & Invitations

Collaborate with team members by inviting them to your workspace, managing their roles, and accepting invitations from others.

Inviting Members

Admins and creators can invite new members:

Access Workspace

  1. Go to Workspaces tab in Account
  2. Click "Manage" on workspace
  3. Scroll to "Invite Members" section

Send Invitation

  1. Enter member's email address
  2. Select role (User or Admin)
  3. Click "Send Invitation"

Invited member receives email with invitation link.

Limits: Member invitations are limited by your workspace's member limit.

Managing Members

View and manage all workspace members:

Member Information:

  • Email address
  • Role (Creator, Admin, User)
  • Join date
  • Who invited them

Available Actions:

Change Role

Admins and creators can change member roles:

  • Select new role from dropdown
  • Changes apply immediately
  • Creator role cannot be changed

Permissions:

  • Creators - Can change any member's role
  • Admins - Can only promote Users to Admin

Remove Member

Admins and creators can remove members:

  1. Click trash icon next to member
  2. Confirm removal
  3. Member loses workspace access immediately

Restrictions:

  • Cannot remove yourself
  • Cannot remove the creator
  • Admins can only remove Users

Accepting Invitations

When invited to a workspace:

View Invitations

  1. Click user avatar → "Workspaces"
  2. Go to "Invitations" tab
  3. See all pending invitations

Review Invitation

Each invitation shows:

  • Workspace name
  • Inviter's email
  • Your assigned role
  • Invitation date

Accept or Decline

Accept: Click "Accept" → Join workspace → Switch to new workspace

Decline: Click "Decline" → Invitation removed

Roles & Permissions

Creator

The workspace creator has:

  • Full workspace control
  • Can delete workspace
  • Can manage all members
  • Can change any member's role
  • Cannot be removed

Admin

Admins can:

  • Invite new members
  • Edit workspace settings
  • Remove User role members
  • Promote Users to Admin
  • Create and manage BVs

User

Users can:

  • Read only access
  • View workspace information
  • No member management access
